人形劇・歌手・衣装デザイナーとして活躍するブラジル人アーティスト Nina Vogel が高知に滞在し、和紙や伝統音楽、衣装をリサーチした後、梼原町在住の音楽家・大村太一郎とのコラボレーションにより、多角的パフォーマンスを創作・発表します。
パペット、音楽、衣装を通して西洋と東洋の文化が出会い、魔法をかけられたウイラプル鳥は、音や色、生命に満ち溢れた新たな世界を見つけるために旅立ちます。
さあ、ウイラプル鳥といっしょに、素晴らしい出会いの旅に出かけましょう。
※「ウイラプル」はトゥピ・グアラニー先住民の言葉です。ブラジルでは笛のように鳴く魅惑の鳥を意味します。

International multi-talented artist Nina Vogel will create a new multidisciplinary performance entitled Uirapuru Tori, in collaboration with Japanese musician Taichiro Omura, from Kochi.
West meets East through costume design puppetry and music, where a small enchanted bird will fly to discover a whole new universe – full of sounds, contrasts, colors and other beings, so different, yet so full of similarities. Uirapuru Tori invites the audience to fly and sing with him in this fantastic journey of discoveries towards what unites us all.
*Uirapuru, from Tupi-guarani indigenous language, is the name of a bird which singing sounds like a flute and it’s considered to be an enchanted bird in Brazil.

物やおもちゃで遊ぶとき、声を作り、人形になりきったことはありますか？
靴下や布切れで人形を作り、実際に操って、みんなで発表してみましょう。
Who has never played with objects and toys, making voices and imitations? In this workshop the proposal is to create your own puppet out of socks and pieces of fabric, and then learn how to listen to it. Creation and presentation of a small scene with our new scene partners.

Nina Vogel
（ニナ・ヴォーゲル）
ブラジル出身。受賞歴のある国際的なマルチ・アーティスト（演出家、俳優、人形遣い、歌手、コスチューム・デザイナー）。芸術言語の境界を超えた独創的なソロ・パフォーマンスを創作しており、20カ国以上で作品を発表している。その無限の創造性は視覚的で現代的な人形劇にも現れており、「見えないものを表現する詩人」としても知られている。
セリア・ヘレナ高等芸術学校演劇科（サンパウロ）を卒業。2017年カナダ・ケベック州政府から奨学金を授与され、UQÀM（ケベック大学）で現代人形劇の修士課程を修了。2023年チェコ共和国で4年に一度開催される舞台美術と劇場建築の国際展プラハ・カドリエンナーレのRAREパフォーマンスセッションに招聘される。2024年、五大陸でレジデンスを行う。

Nina Vogel is an award-winning international multi-artist, creator of original solo performances that transcend the boundaries of artistic languages: director, actress, puppeteer, lyrical singer, costume designer. In recent years, she has presented her work in more than 20 countries around the world. With her limitless creativity, manifested in her visual and contemporary puppet performances, the artist is also known as the “poet of the invisible”. She is an actress, realizing her undergraduation in theater from the Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena. In 2017, she was awarded two scholarships from the government of Québec, Canada to do a Master in Contemporary Puppet Theatre at UQÀM (Université du Québec à Montréal). In 2023, she was selected from hundreds of artists from around the world to participate in the RARE performance session of the Prague Quadrennial, in the Czech Republic. In 2024 he will continue between artistic residencies and trips across the 5 continents.
大村太一郎
Taichiro Omura
維新の志士雌伏の地として知られる高知県梼原町に住み、人と自然の営みから生まれる新たな音楽を創作しながら全国を駆け回り、ジャズ、ポピュラー、現代音楽の枠を越えて精力的に活動中。梼原町文化協会会長。
He lives in Yusuhara, Kochi Prefecture, which is known as the place of the “Shishi of the Meiji Restoration” and is active in creating new music born out of the activities of people and nature, traveling throughout Japan and crossing the boundaries of jazz, popular, and contemporary music. He is the chairman of the Yusuhara Cultural Association.
