Talk & Exchange Event “Art and Immigration -a diplomatic creative bridge towards Peace”
世界を旅するアーティストとして、ユネスコや国際人形劇連盟が主催する国際的なイベントに参加するブラジル人アーティスト、ニナ・ヴォーゲルが、創作活動を通じて追求する平和と調和への外交アプローチについてお話しします。トークの終わりには、詩的なミニパフォーマンス『希望の羽』をお披露目します。また、本テーマや国際交流に関心のある方々との交流会も開催します。ぜひ、お気軽にご参加ください。
Brazilian artist Nina Vogel, a world-traveling artist who has participated in international events organized by UNESCO and the UNIMA International, will talk about her diplomatic approach to peace and harmony that she pursues through her creative work. At the end of the talk, a poetic mini-performance, “Plumes of Hope,” will be performed. An exchange meeting with people interested in this theme and international exchange will also be held. 〜アーティスト メッセージ〜
異文化間に深い絆を築くことができる最も強力な外交手段の一つが、実はアートであることを経験を通して知りました。移民、新参者、時には旅行者として世界各地を旅する中で、芸術のレンズを通して異文化と繋がった美しい瞬間や、困難な状況の中で人形や音楽がどのように調和をもたらしたかを皆さんと分かち合いたいと思います。
The theme of Immigration here is approached under the perspective of a multidisciplinary artist, puppeteer, who had discovered from experience that one of the most powerful diplomatic tool that can establish a profound bond between different cultures is actually Art. From the experiences of an artist globetrotter, who have lived in many different countries, Nina Vogel will share with the audience some of these beautiful moments of connection with different cultures, as an immigrant, newcomer or sometimes just traveler through different parts of the globe, through the arts lenses, as well of some difficulties and how the puppets and music became agents of harmony in those cases.
ミニパフォーマンス『希望の羽』
紛争が絶えない世界で、平和を促進し、異なる国や文化の人々と真の絆を築くには？
ホープと呼ばれる鳥が、平和として知られる故郷へ帰る道（ユートピア）を探している。小さな惑星の住民は、ホープの羽にメッセージを書き込むことで、その道を見つける手助けをするよう招かれる。
異なる国々を巡り、地球を横断する旅パフォーマンス。絶え間ない競争と対立を刺激する世界、緊張と世界各地で同時多発的に起こる戦争の中で、人々と本当につながるにはどうしたらいいのか？
Mini performance ‘FEATHERS OF HOPE’
How to promote Peace and create a real bond with people from different countries and cultures, in a world in constant conflict?
A bird called Hope is searching her way back home, to a land known as Peace. Her path is Utopia. All the citizens of our small planet are invited to engage and help Hope find her way back home, by writing messages in the feathers of her wings. The goal of the performance is to exchange messages between participants around the planet, subverting any governmental rules and restrictions and connecting people with messages of Hope, Harmony and Peace, through Art.
A traveling performance that will cross the planet, through different countries. In a world that stimulates constant competition and conflict, where there’s a crescent tension and different simultaneous wars happening around the globe, how to truly connect with people?

◾️パペット作り&操り方を学ぶワークショップ「PUPPET IN MOVEMENT -パペットにいのちをふきこもう！」“PUPPET IN MOVEMENT” workshop to learn how to make and manipulate puppets
紙やさまざまな素材を使ってオリジナルのパペット（人形）を作り、操り方を学んで、皆で発表してみましょう。人形遣い＆歌手のニナがパペットを楽しく操る方法を教えてくれます。
Let’s make your original puppets using paper and various materials, learn how to manipulate them, and present them to everyone. Puppeteer & singer Nina will teach you how to manipulate puppets.
内容
1. オリジナルのパペットを作ってみよう
2. ウォーミングアップして、からだの動きを観察してみよう
3. 遊びながら、パペットがどのように呼吸し動くのかを発見しよう
4. 新しい友だちと一緒に小さなシーンを作って発表してみよう
1. Let’s make your original puppets

3. Discover how the puppet breathes and moves as you play

ニナ・ヴォーゲル (Nina Vogel)
ブラジル出身。受賞歴のある国際的なマルチ・アーティスト（演出家、俳優、人形遣い、歌手、コスチューム・デザイナー）。芸術言語の境界を超えた独創的なソロ・パフォーマンスを創作しており、20カ国以上で作品を発表している。その無限の創造性は視覚的で現代的な人形劇にも現れており、「見えないものを表現する詩人」としても知られている。セリア・ヘレナ高等芸術学校演劇科（サンパウロ）を卒業。2017年カナダ・ケベック州政府から奨学金を授与され、UQÀM（ケベック大学）で現代人形劇の修士課程を修了。2023年チェコ共和国で4年に一度開催される舞台美術と劇場建築の国際展プラハ・カドリエンナーレのRAREパフォーマンスセッションに招聘される。2024年、五大陸でレジデンスを行う。昨年、高知市・蛸蔵にて、音楽家・大村太一郎との共同制作公演「ウイラプル鳥」を発表。

Nina Vogel is an award-winning international multi-artist, creator of original solo performances that transcend the boundaries of artistic languages: director, actress, puppeteer, lyrical singer, costume designer. In recent years, she has presented her work in more than 20 countries around the world. With her limitless creativity, manifested in her visual and contemporary puppet performances, the artist is also known as the “poet of the invisible”. She is an actress, realizing her undergraduation in theater from the Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena. In 2017, she was awarded two scholarships from the government of Québec, Canada to do a Master in Contemporary Puppet Theatre at UQÀM (Université du Québec à Montréal). In 2023, she was selected from hundreds of artists from around the world to participate in the RARE performance session of the Prague Quadrennial, in the Czech Republic. In 2024 he will continue between artistic residencies and trips across the 5 continents. Last year, she presented “Uirapuru Tori” a collaborative performance with musician Taichiro Omura at Takogura in Kochi City.
